Ember POS is a point-of-sale app made for small cafés and coffee shops in the Philippines. It runs on an Android tablet or phone, or in any browser, and it keeps the counter, the bar, the stock and the money in one place.
Built for how a café sells
- Every drink can have sizes and add-ons with their own prices: a Large costs more, an extra shot adds ₱25. Each one can use its own ingredients too, so a Large uses more milk and an oat-milk swap uses oat milk.
- Modifiers like less sugar, no ice or iced go to the bar without changing the total.
- Dine-in, takeout and delivery on one screen, with tables and held tickets for customers who order more later.
The bar and the kitchen get the order right away
- Orders appear on a kitchen or bar screen the moment they are sent, with a timer and a ring. A new barista can tap any drink to see exactly how to make it.
- A Now Serving screen shows customers which orders are ready.
Stock that follows every cup
- Each drink has a recipe. When it is paid, the coffee beans, milk, syrup, cup, lid and straw come out of stock by themselves.
- Every recipe is costed, so you know your profit on each cup. The Shopping List tells you what to buy before you run out.
- Make cold brew or syrups in batches: the prep station takes the raw ingredients out and puts the batch in, at its real cost.
Money
- Cash, card, GCash, Maya, gift cards and split payments. Upload your GCash or Maya statement and Ember matches it to your sales, so missing money stands out.
- Profit & Loss shows your real bottom line: sales minus ingredients, wages and expenses.

What do I need to start?
Any Android phone or tablet with the app from Google Play, or any computer, iPhone or iPad in the browser at emberpos.net/app. Many cafés start with one tablet at the counter.
