You can permanently delete your EmberPOS account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways:

Option 1: inside the app (instant)

  1. Sign in to EmberPOS as the shop owner.
  2. Go to Settings → Data & Backup → Danger zone.
  3. Tap "Delete shop & account".
  4. Type DELETE and your owner password, then tap Permanently delete.

Option 2: by email

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify and complete the deletion, typically within a few business days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your shop is permanently erased: your sales and payment history, menu, ingredients and inventory, customers, expenses and quotations, staff records and schedules, reports, and your sign-in account. This action cannot be undone. Two things are kept, without your shop's name or any staff name, for as long as tax law requires: your sales record and Z readings (the tax figures of each day), and the record of what you paid Ember.
